The purpose of the Independent Brokerage Group is to create and sustain a network of highly qualified, independent SIOR brokers across the world to collaborate, share information and enhance business opportunities for its members. The committee tasked with overseeing IBG is working diligently to raise the overall value proposition for SIOR members through being a resource and developing an environment where best practices, ideas, and top industry trends are shared. With this in mind, there are many exciting things happening this year: - **Educational Breakout Session**:  Join us at the Spring World Conference on on Saturday, May 4 from 8:45am -10:45 a.m. as we more closely examine the most popular topics from the membership survey. The session will feature an interactive discussion through focused round tables, allowing member involvement and information sharing. - **Networking Cocktail Reception:**  Meet your fellow IBG members at the Spring World Conference reception on Friday, May 3 from 6:15 - 7:15 p.m. - **SIOR Designee Marketing Toolkit:**The 2013 version is now available on the MySIOR site at [www.sior.com](http://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?e=001tfiL5XxbYm3h-_p99NKjtwwoRvlu0RQIUgntDssXxzb8KPSoU7NVCazNwfdluDkzMEiCu4Sb9FfZCVhyarCp8PNnpv3FxTvRVyP7cEFP9kDEL4njCQk6hiOTcnfgTp8lt6Llar0wRNvnRaFNYwPECjYTuE8CuHG1g1pdcwbdmV0=).
