It’s finally here – our unique SIOR Blog. What makes it unique? It’s not another generic corporate blog. It’s YOUR blog. You write the content, we promote it. Our SIOR members are the lifeblood of our organization, and the ones that truly have a pulse on the commercial real estate industry.
For more than 70 years, the SIOR designation has been the symbol of the best and brightest in industrial and office real estate. As an organization we have worked hard to become leaders in enriching the industry—from educational initiatives to outlining best practices.
So where does the SIOR Pulse fit into all of this? To put it simply: I always take away something impactful—something of lasting value—from each and every SIOR Conference I have had the privilege to attend. Whether it’s a speaker at one of our general sessions, an educational presentation, or one of the many conversations I have with our global members, there is always something vital to be learned and to be shared. This is the foundation of SIOR Pulse. The conversations, the connections, the ideas, the stories—not just of SIORs but the entire commercial real estate community—are essential to the progression of the industry and the driving of business.
SIOR Pulse exists to be an aggregator of industry news, resources, and commentary. On a frequent basis you will be able to find posts on a number of topics, including: market updates, technology, brokerage skills, tenant rep, environmental issues, office design, architecture, international trends and insights, brokerage skills, SIOR news, and more.
Keep in mind that this is not just an opportunity for you to learn, but also an opportunity for you to share! Your comments and insights are essential to the success of this blog, so we encourage you to participate. Additionally, some blog posts will be featured in Professional Report, SIOR’s quarterly magazine. We are accepting blog submissions year round…so if you have something you would like to be considered please don’t hesitate, and send it to email@example.com.
And so on behalf of SIOR I would like to welcome you to the very first official SIOR Blog!
